Gil Bailie once said, “Don’t ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive, and go do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”

Design is my passion. As a graphic designer my goal is to create original work that takes visual elements and fuses them together using the elements of design: layout, typography, color, and style. I hold myself to the standard of creating designs that have both form and function. I thrive off of organization, planning, and details. I believe it is because of this that I am intrigued by typography; causing me to admire conceptually strong typographic work.

While I come from a fine arts background I have pursued graphic design. As a result of having been exposed to both philosophies I like to incorporate hand-crafted mediums into a digital environment, ultimately blurring the lines between the two. I believe that in doing so the designs intrinsically have a unique quality.
